The questions is, are you ready to embrace it?

10 Undeniably Fabulous Dress Styles to Try Out This Summer

Let’s start with the classic summer silhouettes because we feel every woman should own at least one of them.

1. Maxis

Ah, what is prettier than a long flowy maxi dress? They come in floral prints, tube-topped, halter-topped, off the shoulder, and just about every kind of top you can imagine.

What do they all have in common though? Their power to make anyone look statuette like a Greek goddess.

Cinch one with a belt to highlight your figure or tie the sides to give it more oomph if you’re on the shorter side.

2. Beach Dresses

There is nothing more beach looking than a linen white dress with blue stripes. It’s the sky, the ocean, and the white sand captured in a dress.

If you don’t own a beach white dress already, you should. It will instantly make you look like you came out of a summer catalog and people will ask you which beach you just came from even if you were just hanging out at the house.

3. Tunics

Tunics are one of our favorite dress styles for several reasons. One is that they can be dressed up or down. Prints tend to be more casual looking while solids, satin, or metallic will elevate you to party status.

Two is that they are SO comfortable. There is no tightness to deal with, no need to suck anything in, and the best part is you’ll still look effortlessly dressed up!

Throw one over your bikini and you’ll be ready to head out the door or pair a floral tunic with denim jeans and wedges to look bohemian summer chic.

4. Mod Dresses

Alright girl bosses, if you are going to be working hard this summer, you might as well do it in style. Mod dresses can help you do just that. Their stiffer silhouettes and straight edges mean business.

Unlike winter, however, you are allowed to go brighter during the summer. Pick red and white, polka dots, or geometric shapes. For inspiration, think Michelle Obama or Jackie Kennedy. They are the ultimate mod girl bosses.

If the air conditioning in the office is blasting, pair it with a fun blazer.

5. Pant-Dresses

Okay, okay, we know this is technically not a dress but we don’t think any woman of the 21st century would object.

Pant dresses are HOT and in style. Maybe it’s the fact that they are trying to trick everyone to think they are dresses but they give off a mischievous and playful vibe.

Designers agree and have taken them to a whole new level. Take a look at this adorable yet chic Boy Scout Sash. It’s part overall, part pants, and part dress. Genius.

6. Wrap Dresses

We don’t know what it is but there is something very romantic about the drapery on wrap dresses. Whether it’s a half wrap across the chest or a full wrap across the body, they just add an extra feminine touch to the dress.

Anyone can look good in a wrap dress but they can be especially flattering for those of you with more slender bodies. The wrap creates volume and gives the illusion of curves.

Depending on the print and style, wrap dresses can be casual wear or formal wear. It is one of the most versatile dress styles in existence.

7. Tiered Dressed

Tiered dresses are layers of fun. Pick a chiffon one with spaghetti straps for those extra hot days or a V-neck one for the wedding or bridal shower.

If you need a formal evening look, knee-length tier gowns will make everyone stop and stare. They are stunning and elegant.

For extra fun, pick a tiered dress with metallic fringes in the front.

Either way, we’ll be humming “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” in the background.

8. Minis

Wheather you have long legs, medium legs, or short legs, one thing’s for sure, they’ve been hiding in the cold for way too long!

Minis area great way to flaunt those legs. But minis don’t just have to be mini at the bottom, you can also pick minis with bare backs or ties in the front revealing a little bit of skin here and there. This will leave the fellas wondering what’s in between.
